It appears that disabling / turning off options in "Firefox Data Collection and Use" disables their new way of spying. Those have been long disabled on my browsers.

Yes, something like their telemetry collecting activities. I do wonder though, being on the other side of the pond, if this update will not require further things to turn off or will it reset some of those turned off telemetry? Paranoid me still went to check after updating!

Why does no one clear cookies at the end of their browsing session? Yes, there are those that you may wish to keep (logged-on websites, etc) but surely the others can go?

I must do a how-to on this one me thinks. Firefox is easy, Chrome, no so much but still doable via numerous loops:

If people don't want their contributions to "train" AI (of which you don't have a choice), then being banned from SO has zero impact the banned user, but to SO it creates negative PR. I don't blame the users for choosing to delete their stuff.
CC4.0 does not explicitly say that machines can learn, but rather people have the right to share. From a PR standpoint, it would have been very easy for SO to allow users to opt out, and the banning stance makes me look at them unfavorably as they don't care about their customers/contributors.
While I do respect and admire the user's stance, long term, this protest will go nowhere. AI is here to stay and will sniff out every open source contribution in existence and assimilate.

So, what date is this?
Let’s try writing the date in plain English, using words for the month - we can still use numerals for the day and year. That way, everyone will know exactly which date we mean.
