It's the first day of the new year! Most people take the day off, but since this year is going to be an exciting one, I couldn't wait to get started. A lot of things have been going on behind the scenes, and this is the year we will start launching and releasing some of the things we are working on.
My wife and I had a wonderful New Years Eve together. We cleaned the house before midnight, so we start the year fresh. And we had a New Years feast around midnight to celebrate prosperity and abundance in the new year. And then we watched all of the neighbors launch fireworks around us.
This year we had Steelhead Trout, which seemed very similar to Salmon, served with Spanish rice with Cilantro. We also roasted a ham, and had pancit, which is a noodle dish with cabbage and meat (we used pork belly for the meat). We have so many leftovers, I don't think we will need to cook for a week!
