We just finished our first official meeting of the Hubzilla Association, where we voted, in General Assembly, to form an association, adopt its statutes, and elect its officers. All present voted in favor, and once the papers are signed, we will officially be an association.
In the coming months, the association will take over the maintenance of the Hubzilla websites and support channels, and organize the development and maintenance tasks of the Hubzilla software, official components, and approved forks.
We still have a lot of work to do, but forming the association is the first step.
I am proud to be part of this association, and we will keep you updated as new developments happen.
